The Guardian

This little one's mom looked like she was daring anyone to come near her baby. I thought it was interesting how different the two of them looked. It reminded me of a book from my childhood, I think it was called "Three Little Horses at the King's Palace." They were named Blackie, Brownie, and Whitie, and my two sisters and I would play and pretend to be the three horses. I know the names aren't very original, and not even politically correct, but when you're little it makes sense. This is painted on an 11"x14" panel.
