I painted a smaller, similar version of these onions a few months ago, and then decided to paint them larger. These are on a 12"x30" board. They work horizontally, but I think they're kinda fun as a long vertical. I wish I could think of some other long veggies that would be fun to paint. Thought of carrots, but I'm not so sure I want to paint them!
These look gorgeous! You could do some long asparagus stalks or leeks,,ruhbarb...did I even spell that right:) or some turnips with all that long green stuff left on or celery stalks...off the top of my head. Out of these I have done the aspargus and turnips. You show wonderful work here on your blog!
