Jack

Jack is a brother to Maggie, a dog I painted before Christmas. The owners are friends and each asked me to paint their dog as a gift for their husbands. I love how Jack turned out. He's much more chiseled and muscular than his sister, but both of these dogs are two of my favorites. Jack is painted in oil on an 11x14 cradled board.

    Gorgeous!!! Love the black tones showing through brushwork and the yellow ears-- this is wonderful. So glad to discover your blog, Amy! I will be back for more.
