Crossing the Line



I set this up on a sunny afternoon and the tomatoes were out-sized by their shadows! But I liked the color of the plate against the cool background.  It's painted on a 20"x30" cradled board.

    This painting really captures my attention. I love the shadows with the white streak and dots (I guess they are a design on the glaze of the plate) Love the cropping and impressed with the size of the piece. Very nice job!
